In the early hours of 31.12.2021 the state in cooperation with the rector's authorities and the contractor decides to evacuate and demolish the “Squat at Biology” school of Thessaloniki.
This move is a continuation of a framework of the attack on the collective struggles and the successive evacuations of squatters and self-organized structures.
"Squat at Biology" is a place of liberated radical thought, where for 34 years it has practically challenged the concept of ownership and exploitation, hosting concerts against the logic of profit, political-cultural events, assemblies, lessons of Greek to immigrants and collective kitchen. A space that is historically one of the main areas of expression of DIY and Punk culture in Greece, as well as the longest occupation on university soil.
The state's communication game with the rectory authorities, which marks the end of "lawlessness" by the imposition of the doctrine of "order and security", is its main narrative for the criminalization of student struggles, the imposition of sterile institutions and the creation of a university police force.

With the digital collection "Punks for Biologica" we express our total solidarity with "Biologica" squat, in order to financially support the squat and to communicate widely the repression that the areas of radical expression receive.
